JARAMAR II COMPLEX - 2 bedroom/2 bathroom air-conditioned apartment
Jaramar II is adjacent to the Miraflores complex. Apartment 8 is on the upper floor of a 2 high townhouse style development. Its location is ideal for anyone who doesn’t want to hire a car. It is within easy walking distance to the beach, bus stops, supermarkets, shops, pharmacy, money change, cafes, bars, restaurants, taxi rank, local park, laundrette, coach trip booking & car hire facilities.

The complex is small and friendly with just 22 privately owned apartments set in beautiful well maintained gardens around a swimming pool. Some of the apartments are residential so it doesn’t feel like a holiday resort. The pool area can be seen from the balcony so your children can play safely while you are in the apartment. There are several trees around the pool providing shade if needed. There are sea views from the balcony and one of the bedrooms (on a clear day you can see Gibraltar).

The apartment is very cool. It has marble floors throughout and is able to make the most of any sea breezes as it is upstairs. There is full air-conditioning.
There are 2 bedrooms (1 double & 1 twin bedded), with fitted wardrobes. There is a double sofa bed in the lounge which increases sleeping to 6 people (small extra charge will apply). A cot can be supplied. There are 2 bathrooms. The family bathroom has a bath (with shower over), washbasin & toilet. The en-suite has a corner shower unit, washbasin & toilet.

A brand new kitchen was installed in 2013 with all new kitchen units, appliances, tiles, new window & a beautiful black granite worktop. The kitchen is fully fitted with fridge/freezer, full size cooker, washing machine, microwave, along with various cool bags/blocks etc for picnics. The kitchen has a very large window (with grilles behind) which can be pinned open safely to make the most of any breeze.

The lounge has 2 sofas & a dining table/chairs. There are wall to wall sliding doors leading from the lounge to the balcony (which has table/chairs/loungers) There is a colour TV with UK channels and a DVD player with a small supply of DVD’s & a hire shop nearby. There is also a CD/radio.

The apartment is very well equipped with all your home comforts (towels, hairdryer, iron/ironing board, board games, cards, tourist guides, local maps, several beach mats, parasol)
For winter lets, the air-conditioning system can be used for heating. There are also 2 oil filled electric radiators. There are even hot water bottles supplied to keep you warm!

Car hire discount of 15% can be arranged through a local company.

Linen & bath towels are provided.
Start days are flexible and bookings can be for an odd number of days (will be charged pro-rata at weekly rate). NB minimum hire period is 1 week.

Another private apartment at Jaramar II is available to let (property 131 on this website) so 2 families could stay near each other.

Local activities:

Very central location (15 mins drive to Fuengirola or Marbella, just 30 mins from Malaga airport). Swimming, golf (Miraflores golf complex is very close but there are 20 more to choose from in the area), tennis, fishing. Aquapark in Fuengirola, Tivoli World Amusement Park 20 mins drive. Coach trips can be booked nearby with pick up point just a few mins walk away.

Apartment Location

Apartment is within easy walking distance of bars, restaurants, shops, pharmacy supermarkets, taxi rank, local park, beach, bus stops. You don’t need to hire a car. You could even spend your entire holiday within the immediate vicinity.
My favourite local bar/restaurant is Max Beach which is right on the sea-front.
